Lorna Marchant offers counselling at her practice in the heart of Bedford.
Lorna is a qualified and experienced counsellor with more than 20 years experience of working therapeutically with adults, couples and young people. She offers counselling to clients and consultative supervision to other counsellors.
Lorna says ' I found my way into counselling through my work with young people on Merseyside as well as through having my own personal therapy'
'As in my case, most people come into counselling to try and resolve some issue that is preventing them living a more satisfying life'
With that in mind Lorna offers a counselling relationship that can help to unravel these difficulties, helping to see them more clearly and then take action to resolve them.
Lorna has published research on Anorexia
and is currently researching the impact on adult life of a sudden death in childhood and she was awarded a Fellowship from the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
in 2002 for her contribution to counselling. She was also a founding member of the UK Pre-Therapy Network.
